At MonClubSportif,

Everything evolves rapidly, just as it does in the world of sport. Every day, new needs arise, creating new challenges and making each day more different than the last. That’s why, with our first-round pick, we’re selecting…YOU!

Involved in the development of our growing Quebec product, you’ll be called upon to innovate and invest yourself in the entire project. In short, you’ll play hard in the corners! Are you interested in surpassing yourself on a daily basis to help athletes simplify their daily lives?

Your daily challenges

  • Developing new modules and functions in Ruby On Rails
  • Participate in the evolution of MonClubSportif
  • Perform tests and participate in code review to ensure quality control
  • Automate certain processes to enable continuous development

You have the profile so...

  • You're comfortable with the Ruby language and the Ruby On Rails framework.
  • You're proactive and autonomous, and you're able to make Kraft Dinner without reading the instructions.
  • You have a keen eye for quality and attention to detail.
  • You have a desire to learn. In short, you're coachable.
  • Your code is understandable, efficient and "maintainable".
  • You have an advanced level of written English, like Claude Julien.
  • You're interested in learning and working in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

Your conditions

  • You can telecommute and work from the Quebec City office at any time, so you won't miss any of your favorite team's games!
  • Very flexible schedule, a bit like Jonathan Quick in the 2012 series.
  • Hours dedicated to technology watch, think of it as "scouting".
  • Choice of platform (Windows, Mac, Linux)
  • Competitive salary and benefits, maybe not as good as Patrick Mahomes's new contract, but you'll be fine, I promise.
  • Collaborative, dynamic team. We have great team chemistry!

That little something extra that'll charm you

  • You've been involved in the sports world
  • You have experience in developing REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • You have experience with TDD, even better with RSpec
  • You have experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS or other)
  • You have an interest in DevOps (CI/CD tools, Docker, Jenkins, etc.).
  • You have an interest in or knowledge of artificial intelligence
  • You have SaaS experience
